With so many people home more and looking for things to do many people are having fun on social media answering Facebook surveys questions about themselves and learning more about their friends.
Where did you go to high school? How long have you been married? How many tattoos do you have? All just harmless fun trying to pass the time.
Or is it harmless?
Many of these fun personal questions are the same questions companies like you Bank or Insurance companies use as security questions. To hackers and other dangerous people this is treasure chest of information.
Hackers build information about people over time and when they know enough about you they attack. Your bank accounts, social media pages, and any password protected accounts are all vulnerable to be hacked. But the problem is you gave them the keys to hack your accounts.
Answering these questions can be harmful and expose your and your assets to being hacked.
I’m not suggesting you stop interacting on social media, just be careful when answering Facebook surveys, dangerous people are watching.
Just be vigilant about what information your are sharing, once it is out their, there is no getting it back.
